Prof. Lucia Banci - Magnetic Resonance Center of the University of Florence -
Lucia Banci is full professor of Chemistry at the University of Florence. She is an expert in structural biology, structural genomics, bioinformatics, NMR spectroscopy, investigation of protein-protein interaction. She has also developed Molecular Dynamics approaches and bioinformatic tools tailored for metalloproteins. She has published more than 250 publications and solved more than 40 protein structures. Lucia Banci is a founder of ProtEra, one of the scientific coordinators of the european projects in which the company is involved and head of biotech section.

Prof. Ivano Bertini - Magnetic Resonance Center of the University of Florence -
Ivano Bertini was born in 1940. He became full professor of Chemistry in 1975 at the University of Florence where he is now. He received the Laurea Honoris Causa from the University of Stockholm in 1998, from the University of Ioannina in 2002 and from the University of Siena in 2003. Member of the Academia Europaea and of the Italian Accademia dei Lincei. He is or has been in the editorial staff or advisory board of more then a dozen among the most authoritative journals in chemistry, biochemistry and inorganic chemistry.
Since 1994, he transformed his lab in an NMR lab for structural biology for metalloproteins and he developed a molecular biology department for protein expression and purification. He has published more than 500 publications and has solved more than 50 structures of proteins. Ivano Bertini is a founder of ProtEra.

Prof. Claudio Luchinat - Magnetic Resonance Center of the University of Florence -
Claudio Luchinat (1952), is full professor of Chemistry at University of Florence. He is Member of several societies like Italian Chemical Society, International Society of Magnetic Resonance and American Chemical Society. He is in the advisory board of European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Journal of Biological Inorganic Chemistry, and of Journal of Biomolecular NMR. He is an expert in NMR spectroscopy, bioinformatics, investigation of protein-ligand interaction and drug screening. He has published more than 370 publications. Claudio Luchinat is a founder of ProtEra and he is also one of the scientific coordinators of the european projects in which ProtEra is involved. Head of drug-discovery section.
